Mulan, a young Chinese only daughter of the Fa family, instead of looking for a boyfriend, like her friends, tries by all means to enlist in the imperial army to prevent her elderly father from being called up to defend the Emperor from harassment of the Huns. When the imperial emissary carries out the order to recruit the men of all families, Mulan will impersonate a soldier and undergo hard training until he deserves the esteem and confidence of the rest of his squad.
We were all happier than partridges with the advances of Mulan, but millions of fans have just mounted in anger. It was the year 1998 and Disney was right again. After his golden years with one clasic after another, the mouse company saw as Pocahontas, The Hunchback of Notre Damme and Hercules lowered the level one step. However, Mulan recovered much of the punch. Despite not being considered as one of the major works of the company, the truth is that the tape was a real wonder.
March 27, 2020 is the date chosen for the arrival at the cinemas around the world of Mulan. However, the film will come with an absence as large as irreplaceable: Mushu. The funny and charming creature to which Eddie Murphy lent his voice to the original film will fall out of the film, as confirmed by Niki Caro, director of the film. Similarly, Caro also clarified that much of the songs will disappear in this version of real image.
